December 27, 2011 at 6:52 amHello,
I have a Canon HD VIXIA HG20 camcorder. I have been using it for the past three years recording my team’s soccer games. The camera came with a ImageMixer 3 SE Ver 3 software which converts the videos from the camera into ‘m2ts’ files. I usually record the games in two sections, first half and second half. I use Sony Vegas Pro 8 as my editing software. Today is the second time since I had the camera that the first half was imported into Vegas Pro with ONLY the audio, but the second half came over with both video and audio.
Please advise.

December 27, 2011 at 2:01 pmDoes both the video and audio play when you preview this file with other software like the Windows Media Player? Can you import it again? Perhaps the import software made an error since Vegas can read the other files just fine.

December 27, 2011 at 7:53 pmYes, both the vedio and the audio play in both the ImageMixer and Windows Media player. I did reload the file to Vegas Pro, but received the same results.

December 28, 2011 at 6:17 pmIt sounds like the ImageMixer may have written the file incorrectly. is there any way to get to the original files that your camera created? They might work better. Otherwise, try and re-encode the files with another program outside of Vegas to a format that Vegas can edit.
