hi i have recorded fraps videos and im rendering perfectly on video side, but i have a problem with audio, audio sounds fine most of the time but when i use a shotgun or some type of bid explosion the audio sounds like its to loud. i tried lowering the volume and i tried using the audio envelope and still the same.

Using an audio envelope to lower the volume (a lot) is your best choice. Try it again and lower it even more than you already have.

You can use Wave Hammer Surround on the track or master audio bus to act as a Brick Wall Limiter. Go to the Volume Maximizer tab and lower the Output Level and it will limit how loud sounds can get. Use the Threshold to determine when that limiting kicks in so that it only limits loud sounds and doesn’t touch lower ones.
