  • Sony Vegas Pro 12 | Vegas automatically applies View transform when using 32-bit Full Range even if set off?

    Hello fellow users,

I need some help with Sony Vegas since I’ve been having this problem since I applied my preferred project video settings. Basically, some of you would know that using 8-bit or 32-bit floating point (levels) pixel format that it turns off compositing gamma and view transform (new feature in Sony Vegas 12 I believe). But I use 32-bit floating point (full range) which makes these options accessible. The compositing gamma works fine and stays the same when saved at 2.222 (video) but view transform won’t save as I always have to turn it off at the start of opening Sony Vegas. It is always set back to ACES RRT (sRGB) which is a type of view tranform and will turn off if I manually do it myself by going into project video settings and changing it off which then I click (start all new projects with these settings) then click apply and OK, but that still doesn’t seal the deal.

Please help and if you need pictures of this problem or a better analysis of this problem, I will assure you that I will reply as soon as possible as I need this fixed and your help could fix the problem. Thank You.

Same problem, tried various things to solve it. Do you have the answer please?

Set the ‘start all new projects with these settings’ but this doesn’t work.
