sony vegas Pro 12 unable to edit generated media
Posted by Lester Mc phail on October 4, 2012 at 2:30 amHi All
Well I took the leap and upgraded, worrked fine up until now. I am no longer ble to edit generated media. I installed the NB titler pro; played around with it, now a day later it won’t open up in the edit window, neither does any of the other generated media, on Svp10 all is good

October 4, 2012 at 3:02 amThats another scenario where Newbblue Titler is causing
Vegas 12 a headache, im sure if you uninstall it, your
generated media will bo ok. So the issue you are having
is due to Newblue Titler.Steve Rhoden

October 4, 2012 at 2:50 pmEdward,I think it’s sorted now, I also had a crash trying to place Nb titler on the same timeline as a piece of GM. I created a background then tried to place Nb text on it and SvP12 crashed

October 4, 2012 at 4:51 pmGetting tiring it should, you and your team need
to iron out that software.
And if you read my posts, you would see how thoroughly
pleased i am with Vegas 12.Steve Rhoden

October 5, 2012 at 1:12 amI have zero tolerance for unstable softwares such as to what Vegas 11
was and Newblue Titler is. I say it as it is.For Sony Vegas 12, The Sony team are getting back on track.

October 5, 2012 at 4:31 pmWell, Steve, I’ve been using Titler Pro for over a year now and it has been VERY STABLE. NewBlue has been working to resolve issues that have been reported but a lot of issues are really machine specific. With the wide variety of suppliers and available options – not all machines are equal. It’s those unequal machines we’re trying to resolve issues on now. For most machines – with current drivers – it’s working fine.
To just give a broad stroke and say it is “not stable” is totally unfair and untrue.

October 12, 2012 at 4:04 amI think once again the newblue team helped me. They claimed that even though vegas may be closed, once opened something is still running in the background. They suggested I uninstall my old titler. Reboot the computer and then re-install titler. That fixed it for me. Now I do not have any more crashes. Now titler pro 1 and 2 run with absolutely no problems

November 1, 2012 at 10:50 pmThe problem with telling people to go to NewBlue to “fill out a ticket” is when other people are searching online for answers to what seems to be the same issue, we can’t self-remedy… It forces more people to go public with the fact that it’s an issue. My system is a very decent 1 month old i7 3.4GHz w/16GB of RAM. The only thing different is the NB Titler Pro that came with SVP_12
