    Hey everyone.

I was just wondering, I’m having some preview quality problems, if I play it in VLC or media player it is in pretty good quality. But when I import into Sony Vegas the video quality takes a dive and the preview shows the video with a lot of big pixels and blurry. I don’t know the reason behind this, do you have any ideas how to fix it? I haven’t tried rendering it so I don’t know if it’s just the preview that has bad quality. Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Pictures below try and describe the situation both screenshot in full screen.

Just above your preview window you can change the quality of how good your preview looks. Keep in mind that the preview has no bearing on how the final render will look. It’s simply a preview. Unless you have a very fast computer it’s best to keep the preview on Preview (Auto).

Roger is correct. Also ensure your Project Settings match your Media.
