Sony Vegas Pro 11 does not complete rendering
My problem is when I render clips over 5 minutes, it will stop at a certain point. I have already played around with the RAM settings in Sony Vegas, I have even downgraded to my older version. I have a project that I put a lot of work into and need to render out by this saturday. I have done many suggestions on here already and still have these issues. This 10 minute clip that I am doing renders but then stops at 8%, then it hangs for hours on that same clip. I have an i7 920 processor and 12GB of DDR3 ram..so I know this can’t be the issue. I have been playing around with rendering settings and formats but still hangs at 8%, Help please.

Try removing the video portion from your project where it hangs during the render.
If it continues through without incident, then you know there’s something in the video and/or the special effects you’re using that’s causing the problem.
Also try just rendering portions of your project instead of the entire thing at once and see what happens. That will at least help you narrow down the problem area.
