Sony Vegas Pro 11 crashes on rendering.
Hi, I’ve had the following problem today when trying to render something on Sony Vegas Pro 11 for the first time.
I spent about 3 hours editing a small clip and used NewBlue plugins (if that matters). When finally finished I tried to render but when I clicked ‘render as’ it started to load up the different file types but every time it just crashes unexpectedly.
I’m running 64 bit and Sony Vegas Pro 10 worked fine for me. It was playing up a little today so I decided to go ahead and render it and finish it off in Pro 11. To my suprise it didn’t work and now there’s no way I can convert it back.Someone plesae help, I’ve got subscribers to please ;'(
Also, I tried uploading to youtube but the ‘upload’ button is greyed out. -

Remove all the newbluefx plugins from the project,
then set it to render out and see what happens.Steve Rhoden

Just tried that, the same thing happened.
I have Windows 7 btw. -
Try disabling the GPU in preferences and see if you get any success.

Where is the option? I’ve gone into ‘Preferences’ but can’t see it.

in Preferences, under the Video tab. There you will see
GPU acceleration of video processing. Set it to off.Steve Rhoden
