Sony Vegas Pro 10 crashes at certain point during render.
I created a file about 30 seconds long, and when I try rendering it, it gets exactly 52% in EVERY time and then crashes my Sony Vegas with the message ‘Sony Vegas has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to this problem’
I went to this part of the clip and there doesn’t seem to be anything special about this part at all.I render in WMV format, Audio: 44,100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo, WMA
Video: 30 fps, 1280×720 Progressive, 3.1 Mbps
Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.000I have Windows 7, 64 bit. Help? :C

Render again, and instead use the quicktime format, preferably
the Photo-JPEG codec.

I just tried that, and it worked. However it’s pretty weird.
When opening with GOM player it plays only the video.
When opening with VLC player it plays only the sound.
When opening with WM player it plays only the sound.
When opening with Quicktime player it does play both the audio and video, although it is extremely jumpy and requires you to play it 4 or 5 times before it smooths out. -
Well, you can now drop that quicktime file back in Vegas and
render as your usual WMV format, and all will go smoothly.Steve Rhoden
