Sony Vegas not rendering any videos at all
Hi, I’ve recently started using sony vegas pro 11 and have come across a problem. Whenever I attempt to render a completed video, it simply renders a video file that is only a black box and nothing else. No audio, just a black video that strangely goes for longer than the original video.
Note that I am a near complete novice at using Sony Vegas. Thanks in advance for any help. -

How many tracks are in your project?
Try opening a new project, put just one short event on the timeline (1 track of audio, 1 track of video) and render it out. Does that work?
You may have the opacity turned down or have a your video track was muted.
Just a few things you can try.

Thanks for the quick reply Jeff.
I tried your method but unfortunately it gave the same result.
As a note, when I tried to upload to Youtube, the video uploaded was again just a black square and extremely distorted audio.
