Hi all, I recorded about 33 minutes of footage using fraps, however, it was in multichannel mode and therefore sony vegas 10 just dosen’t add any audio track, mpc-hc and wmp play it with no problems though. I was wondering if theres setting that can let it render the audio or if there is a way to change the audio to stereo ? Thanks!

Try setting your project properties to 5.1 audio and import. If that doesn’t work you can use a virtual audio cable and record it from winamp or what ever it does play from right into Vegas. You will have to sync up the audio to the video, but better that loosing the recording.
    Here’s a free one.

Hi, set it to 5.1 surround and still no audio track. I’ve no idea how to use VAC however I did not think of re recording the audio. I suppose your solution (As I have no experience with VAC) would be the same as re recording it. I did not realise though that in total it’s an 1 1/2 hour’s totaling 230gb (It’s that big because of the fraps encoder). If nobody else has a solution i’ll just run it through audacity then sync it after.
    Thanks.
