sony vegas HD platinum 10: deleting multiple unwanted gaps
Hello,
I’m a starting Vegas Movie 10 user and new in this forum and i have searched it without result so far for answers to my following question:
How do i get rid of many little gaps between the events that i have put from my bin on the time (all separate shots of about 5 to 20 sec)?Stepping to each gap one by one is very labourous and i’m looking for a command or script that removes all gaps at once.
The gaps apear to be very small, ranging from zero to about some frames long. May be i use the wrong method to put the events on the timeline?I read about scripts on this forum but i could not download one and i also do not know how to get a script working.
i hope anybody can help me on this one.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but scripting is a feature that’s available in Vegas Pro only so you’re either going to have to upgrade or continue to do it the hard way:(

I understand now the limits of vegas 10.
However do you happen to know the way how to jump the cursor from one border of event to the next one?
That would make it a lot easier for me to find the gaps.

Use the 7 (backwards) and 9 (forward) keys on the numeric keypad to jump from the end of one event to the beginning of the next event (or the start of an event to the end of the same event).

I think you are talking about black spaces in-between your clips that you have entered into your timeline? If so, are you using snap-on?
Snap-on will allow the clips to sit directly next to each other on the timeline, as to not leave gaps between clips.
