Hey, I am currently working with Sony Vegas Platinum 12, and every single time I try to render my 1 minute 20 second long project, it always seems to freeze. The time code on the render box keeps going but the frame count freezes and it won’t move forward at all.

I’ve tried 2 different formats, WMV and M2T and they both seem to freeze, WMV at 1,079 frames and M2T at 229 frames.

I’ve tried everything. Copying and pasting into a new project, different file, smaller quality of format. I can’t remove any effects as it will take away the essence of the video.

Please help! I am getting frustrated!

I think we’ve all had this happen from time to time.
Could be many things but I have sometimes noticed that it will freeze at exactly the same place. Then I have removed or replaced that particular event and it would then render. So it’s possible it’s a corrupt piece of video.

If that doesn’t work go to preferences and then the video tab.
Set the Dynamic RAM to 0
    and then set the
GPU acceleration of video processing to OFF
