    Hello everyone,

Have been doing only DVD off Sony’s z1u shooting @ HDV 60i. Now willing to try Blu-Ray. On Vegas I did some render tests (modified template Blu-Ray 1440×1080-60i, 25Mbps video stream) setting the video quality from 15 to 31. Render looks great. Audio ac3 5.1 surround, also good. Now, architect is where I need help. How do I get this footage on 25GB or 50GB (your recommendations) to play it looking good like original render? We’re talking about footage up to 2 hours long (aprox. 100 min). Also I’m listening if there’s any modifications needed in vegas. In project properties I got HDV 1080-60i 1440×1080, 29.970 fps with no modifications.

    Thanks in advance everyone.

    SONY Vegas Pro (latest)
    SONY Z1U (2x)
    ASUS P6T Deluxe V2
    INTEL i7 @ 2.67GHz
    CORSAIR 12GB RAM DDR4
    EVGA nVidia GTS 250 (1GB)

Start a new Blu-ray Disc project and author as you would any DVD project. There is really no differences other than the project setting. Use one of the MPEG-2 templates (not AVC) that matches your media. For a Sony Z1 I would use MPEG-2 1440×1080-60i, 16:9 template.
