    Hello,
I am new to the forums, and i really enjoy reading all the posts, its been very helpful.
I have a problem and hope someone out there will be able to help me out. I have always rendered in avi, now when I render to avi, I have pixel flashes on several frames. Could anyone tell me why I am having this problem, and most importantly how to fix it. Thanks
    Stacy

What are you viewing the avi on? Windows Media Player? Try using a different player such as VLC. See if that makes them dissappear.

Did you notice this on the timeline? If so (find the frame that it is occuring) and see if it is there. If it is there, then it usually means that you had an error either on the tape itself (result of dirty head, bad tape, dust on tape, etc.) or the capture contains an error. First I would try viewing the tape again and then possibly recapturing that segment to see if it produces the same results.

    Hope this helps.
