    Hello again.

This is something I have not figured out why it happens or to stop it.

I usually do clips of video (due to changes in compositing mode)
and then render and add rendered track to the entire video.

Problem, whenever I render out a set of tracks (with no audio)
there is an audio track accompanying the rendered clip.

and when I place this into my main video track sets I got an empty audio track I cant get rid of and it fouls up the audio I already have.

I try and separate to delete the audio but it wont let me?

    Any help would be great.

Select the audio event and press ‘U‘ to ungroup it from the video and then delete it. You can also turn off the audio when you render by pressing the Custom button on the Render window and going to the audio tab and unchecking it. Finally, you can always right-click and drag your video and select Video Only from the context menu that pops up when you drop the media on the timeline.
