Sony Vegas 9.0 – Turn Generated Media box back to a window.
I’m using Sony Vegas 9.0, and I was moving the Generated Media window around, and now I can’t get it out of the box where the video preview is, or where it’s supposed to be. How can I turn it back into a window like it first was? And it’s the Generated Media for making text, I believe, maybe other things, not 100% sure. I also tried holding Ctrl+Shift while the program was starting up, and it turned back into default settings, but that didn’t work.

Up in the top corner of the tab (Generated media) there are 3-4 little dots stacked on top of one another. That is a handle to move the window around. Click on the stack of dots and drag the window somewhere. You can move it to another tab group or float it in front of other parts of Vegas. I hope this helps you.
