    Hi

I am using Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8.0
While editing on a film I have encountered a problem.
I am adding a speaker’s voice to the movie I am editing.
    The problem is:
When I want to move the speaker’s voice on the audio line, the movie clip above moves along and vice versa. Movie and speaker’s voice clips are somehow locked together.
I would like to be able to move speaker’s voice and film clips independently. It is maybe a simple problem with the settings. Can somebody help me?

    Thank You
    Johan Bendtsen

Can’t you just ungroup them by selecting the clip and hitting the “u” key on your keyboard?

In Vegas Pro, there is a button at the top called “Ignore Event Grouping.” If you turn this on, you should be able to move the video and audio parts of the clips separately. (Not sure if the button is present in your version of Vegas).
