Sony Vegas 8, 24P steps
Hi Everyone,
I use a canon XL with HDV. I have set it to capture my footage in 24p so I get that film look. I have NO idea how to edit in Sony Vegas Pro 8 in 24p Mode.
Does anyone know where I can find any resources that will guide me in details from begining to end? I need to know the detailed steps from begining to end on how to process my footage in 24p. Keep in mind I have no idea how to do it so I really need detailed help.
I have searched for many resources but none of them give me every step from begining to end.
Can anyone help?

Sony has two free whitepapers on their site that, while not specifically targeted to your camcorder, may still be of some use.
One is titled 24p HDCAM/DVCAM and the other is 24p and Panasonic AG-DVX100 and AJ-SDX900.
