I just got Sony Vegas off the internet and I have a large file that I want to put in high definition on YouTube. To get high definition, I set the screen to 1280 X 720.

Everything is fine until I actually render the 9:40 video. Whenever the video reaches a point where the camera goes black or white or any solid color, the rendering freezes and it won’t start up again. Can anyone help?

    Thanks.

What is on the timeline at those points? Generated media? If so are there any fx applied? We need a whole lot more information about what you are doing and what you are rendering to (format-wise) and what your project consists of.
