sony vegas (64 bits ) and 48 GB RAM
Upgraded my dell T7500 workstation ( 2 x Xeon W5580 , 48 GB RAM , 2 x FX3800 quadro , 4 x HDD ) from 24 GB RAM to 48 G RAM.
Noticed sony vegas not seeing the full 48 GB RAM ( preferences-video , dynamic preview RAM settings ) whilst other programs do.
Am also experiencing some very rare behaviour when increasing the dynamic preview ram to above 525 MB. ( kind of silly too that vegas warns that if increasing it , other programs might get difficulties when having less ram , whilst there is 48 GB Ram )
dynamic ram preview works but when just normal previewing ( let it just play ) , after a while preview starts stuttering , safe area margin stripes starts blinking and when I just let it play , finally vegas crashes.
Am using 3 monitors , 1 for time-line , another for preview and trimmer and the third one for explorer , fx , transitions .
