sony vegas 5 vs sony vegas pro 8
hi to all,
please, i wish to know what are the weak points of sony vegas 5 compared to sony vegas pro 8
i am not quite sure to tell if sony vegas 5 can render using both my celeron g530 cores but i have the feeling that vegas 5 is slower than vegas pro 8 (same settings, same video duration on same render format mpg2)
since i am doing only sd videos (mpg1/mpg2) i am thinking to sell my vegas pro 8 and keep vegas 5
any advice would be of a great help

I’m not sure how many people here would remember Vegas 5. Since you have both, you are asking a question that only you can answer. Whichever works better with your Celeron G530 is what you should use. I’m guessing that Vegas Pro 8 runs better on and Intel Core iSeries than a Celeron. In general, older software runs better on weaker processors because newer software requires more processing power. Just keep the one that works best for you.
