Sony Vegas 15 keeps crashing (from timeline motion?)
Posted by Heidi Huff on November 29, 2019 at 3:19 amI have Sony Vegas 15 Pro, and it keeps crashing. It seems to do this after I drag things around on the timeline: dragging video clips around or cutting video clips by dragging the edges.
Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? I have disabled resample.

November 30, 2019 at 7:09 pmWell, I knew as soon as I posted, I’d have the problem again.
It seems to be when I’m playing the preview and dragging stuff around on the timeline at the same time. The preview window will freeze but the timeline will keep playing. If I press any other button than [save], the program will freeze up, and I’ll have to force close it. Waiting for the program to right itself doesn’t seem to work.
At least I can save it.
I can try uninstalling and reinstalling again. That seemed to help initially.

“Hmm… is window’s 10 always technically running something?
I’m not sure. I do have Sony Vegas 11 I’ve been editing on as well, and it doesn’t crash on me.
