    Hello all.

    Using Sony Vegas 12 Pro.

I keep having this bizarre thing happening.

I have on my timeline a series of audio clips that have a resonant filter on them; specifically a “Teenage Late Night Radio by the Bed” effect that sounds like someone over the phone.

On my timeline it sounds correct.

If I render, it will be as if there is no effect whatsoever on the audio.

If I move the clips to another audio track it may work on a render, but I just had a render fail to have the effect work.

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance.

Well, to summarise, the SFx works on a Track but not on another.

Presently I can’t repro this. I have the effect being heard on rendered output

You are going to need to supply ScreenGrabs of your Workflow and just where are adding your SFxs.

    Cheers

    Grazie

That’s very helpful. Now, where along that Timeline AREN’T you hearing on render? You need to be specific.

The left area, all those clips have the effect. On the same track to the right, they do not.

Sometimes during a render, the effect works for the clips to the left. Sometimes, it doesn’t.

I’ve moved the clips with the effect to another audio track and it will work if I render. For a while. Eventually, it’ll stop working when I render.

Mind you I always hear the effect when playing back on the timeline. It’s sometimes a render won’t take.

Maybe I should create an audio track only for the clips with the effect?

I guess another alternative is to render just the clips as a wav or aiff and drop them into the timeline?
