I’ve been working on syncing a video I took at a concert with audio from another source. I’m finished with that and pleased with the results.

Now when I try to export, I am struggling to find a compression setting that retains the quality of the original video without ballooning out of control.

The source files are 1920×1080, 29.97 fps at 13.0Mbps video roughly, but using a MainConcept AVC/AAC to a tune of 13,000,000 average and 24,000,000 maximum, it still artifacts during the faster light show parts.

Any tips to get the most out of the source video would be greatly appreciated.

@13 mbps i would expect your orignal file to artifact during heavy action at a concert.

    my advice for good quality live concert footage is mainconcept mp4 720p @ 12mbps 2 pass, or 1080p @ 20mbps 2 pass
