As a favor for a friend I shot 6 scenes for an indie film. I used the Panasonic HVX200 P2 camera which when down loaded into Final Cut Pro produces MTS files and the remainder of the scenes I shot using the Sony PMW EX3 camera which when put transferred to Final Cut produces .MOV files or MP4 files. The rest of the project was shot in MVI. The MVI files read fine in Sony Vegas, Without loosing quality by converting the files how do we get Sony Vegas to read these files in the time line? My friend is hounding me to fix this dilemma and I do not know anything about Sony Vegas Help!!!

Are you having issues with the P2 files, the EX3 files or the MVI files? By the way, what are MVI files? That’s new to me.
