Sony Vegas 11 Rendering

it is in .vf currently and not rendering video only audio

.vf is your project file.
What format is your source video (avi, wmv, etc)?

video source is .mov and .mp4, audio source is apple Iphone, turns out my daughter was trying to help me, she is attempting upload video project to youtube from a button under the file menu in Sony Vegas 11, do we need to render first? or can we use this option,

Sorry Dan but I’m on Vegas 10 and it doesn’t have that option.
If an MP4 render won’t work for you, try a high bitrate WMV file instead (like the 3 MB. preset).

Sometimes Vegas refuses to work with music/video if it thinks it is copyrighted?

Vegas doesn’t care if your music is copyrighted. And if it did care, and you paid the fees, how would it know?

Please lay out the exact steps you are taking to try to render. Step by step, naming the actual menu, template and so on. Then maybe somebody can help.

ANYWAY…..In each template, the is mostly and Audio tab. IF you click that tab you can usually ask to include Audio or not with a tick box.

I am having the same problem. In the dropdown menu for file type, all I get is .vf. I don’t get the options for .mp4, .avi, or any other kind of video file type. Help?
