I have just started using Sony Vegas Pro 10 and having an issue rendering my video, when its done it states the File is saved as .avi but when I enter properties it says .SFL, which when I play on WMP only gives me audio.

I’m not sure where I’m going wrong and have tried a few different things any help would be appreciated as this is for a youtube project.

    My thanks in advance!

You need to look in the folder where you saved it for the .avi file.
.SFL is the file used by Vegas to generate the audio waveform display.

Open the project again, click “Render As”, make note of where the file is saved, browse to that folder and open the AVI file with Windows Media Player.
