Sony Vegas 10 PRO Crashes when I click a .wmv file?
As the title states, when i’m going to drag files to the timeline or import a file, the program automatically crashes when i click a .wmv file for some reason. I tested the HD Platinum version I had and it worked on the same computer. What could possibly make the program crash IMMEDIATELY after clicking a .wmv file to import it to the project?
There doesn’t seem to be any fixes out there for this? -

Almost sounds like a semi-corrupt wmv file.
Is this a file you rendered or someone else did? If someone else, are you able to get another rendered copy? If not, are you able to convert it to something else using any free program or an online website that does conversions?
If other files work (especially other wmv files) then I’d definitely say it’s an issue with that one wmv file and not Vegas.
