It’s a long story and I have no time to go into it.

Would anybody be interested in $10.00 per render for 4 renders?:

    My Sony Vegas is crashing.

    – I need 4 project files rendered.

    – Each movie is only about 2 minutes.

    – It needs to be 1280×720 mpg2 main concept.

The final movie file should be as good (or close) quality as the project preview.

    Process:

    – I will send provider zip file with veg project file and all other files.

    – All you need to do is render the movie and send it to me or upload it to youtube so i can download it.

    Please help.

    What’s the problem?

I had the same issue. It was caused by automatic updates. I system restored my computer to two weeks before the crashes started and turned off auto updates. This was the third time I was seriously burned by MS updating at will.

Maybe you can salvage your system with this info.

Thanks and I tried that but it did not work.

There’s so much wrong that I’ll just start with one problem at a time.

Problem 1- The folder that i exported the avc movie to…….when i open the folder and scroll down to where the avc is……i get an error message that says something like “explorer has quit working and needs to close” then it goes on to give me the option to close or re-start.

I deleted the avc from that folder in safe mode……but it’s still there anyway.

The avc movie is acting like a virus.

    So, that’s problem number one.

The explorer-crash when opening a folder that contain video files, is most likely coased by the explorer itselves not being able to show preview of video (icon). Probably a corrupt or not installed codec..
This is easily fixed by entering Folder property -> Show -> scroll down to “Always show icons, never miniatures”, and unmark this option!
Sorry if the terms is’nt correct, I’m not on an english windows.

This is also the reason why I never download or save a video to the Desktop.. (well, did it, crash computer totally, learned)

Hopefully this will solve issue no.1
    Good luck
