Sony UVW-1200 to MAC
Hi everybody from Finland:
Have a problem. Wanna make my Sony UVW-1200 Betacam player contact my MAC with FCP Studio. Works fine – as far as picture transfer is concerned. But cannot get the timecode via the player’s RS-232 port. Control does’nt respond.
Anybody has a bright idea about what to do?

Research the company KEYSPAN for a series of RS-to-USB adapters.
Haven’t used it in a long time myself but their products were good.
