That branch of Sony is completely different that the one one that supports Vegas so I wouldn’t worry about it.
I’m on several Vegas forums and no one is complaining about it.

I believe it was limited to Sony Playstation Network and Sony Entertainment Network. Sony Creative Software is a whole different company under the Sony banner so I wouldn’t be concerned.
