I am wondering what is the storage media that must be used to record XAVC/MXF footage. I have Class 10 SD cards that should be capable, but the camera apparently doesn’t think so. Any help would be appreciated.

Not all cards are created equal despite the ratings.
    I’m using Sandisk Extreme Pro Class 10 UHS-1 U3

I believe these Sony cards should work as well.

The thing is, my cards are rated at 84 MB/s for the SanDisk cards that I have and 90 MB/s for the Sony cards that I have, which both should be able to saturate the 50 Mb/s data rate of XAVC. What gives?

Rating and reality don’t always match. Depends on brand and it depends on source. Cards can be counterfeit for example.
