I’ve been working on a project for a while now and some of the images on it came corrupted – meanign when I clicked them, the project crashed down. However I managed to get rid of them and continue the project… But then another crash appeared, and now I can’t find the file of the project at all – it’s as if the SV file disappeared completely on my computer.

Is there any way of recovering the proejct? Or can somebody at least inform me what happened?

have you tried to open up your project with the Vegas back up file ? Vegas makes a back up session file every time you do an edit, did you know that ?
open up Vegas then go select file, then before you try to open the back up session file you must first hit the tab at the bottom of your pop up window that will let you select files of type, select ALL files then you will see your backup file of that session, look carefully It’s there if you don’t select all files you wont see the back up session file, I hope this works for you.

ALSO this just happened to me for the first time last week. ? WHY ?

Ah thank you very much! Yes I found the backup file and have the entire project back as it is.
