Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM Tripod Adaptor?
Anyone knoe how the Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM will attach to a tripod?
I do most of most of my shooting off of a tripod and am used to a tripod adaptor that stays atached to the tripod head for fast mounting.

Works like any other camera given size and weight. Why would you think it would be different?

Do you figure a threaded attachment directly to the tripod?
I’ve never used a camera this small before. There has always been a tripod adaptor.Thanks!

I’m sure the tripod mount on this camera is the same as the V1 or Z1… just a small screwhole and nothing more. You’ll have to get a tripod that includes a quick release plate, as I’m sure a camera of this size will not come with one like a full size pro camera.
