Sony PMW 350 can’t get the viewfinder lens distance readout to measure in feet only in meters
Can someone please offer a suggestion:
Went through every menu, can’t get the viewfinder readout to indicate distance in feet.
Went to
Operation
Display On/Off
Lens Info: feet
Still coming up in Meters.
Checked all other settings including lens files, no luck.
Using the standard auto focus lens that comes with the camera.
Also getting the file name in the viewfinder, can’t get that to turn off.

in the ex1r you can turn off the file name in ‘others’ – plan meta data ‘ clip name disp. (this is in a strange location in the menu).
for the other problem, i can’t help, you’re doing the right thing in my opinion.
