Sony NX5 microphone not working
I have rented the Sony NX5 to test it out along with the post production workflow. Everything seems great, except we have run into a problem with the microphone that was included. Its the ECM-XM1, and it doesn’t seem to work. We have tested another mic in both channels which works fine, which makes me think its the included mic that doesn’t work.
Is there a setting that I might have missed? Perhaps it needs a new battery or charge? In that case, how would I charge it?
Any info would be great!

Hi, did you ever figure this issue out? I am having the same problem with my ECM-XM1 on my Sony camera.
