  Sony New XAVC Codec

  Can anyone (Floh?), kindly advise whether the new Sony codec XAVC can be treated in the same way as we currently deal with XDCAM? Using Sony Transfer (since replaced by Browser), I convert my EX files into ProRes on import to Media 100. Will I still be able to do this if I change cameras to shoot in the new codec?
