    Hi,

I’m looking for external TV monitor for my Final Cut Studio system with Blackmagic Multibridge Pro editing card. Wich one could you recommend? Maybe there is more choices in that price range?

    Thanks for advice

    TV LOGIC…hands down.

    Then JVC…not the Sony.

I compared the Sony and Panasonic and bought the TV Logic. It had the most accurate color for grading.

Check the TV logic website, they have some B-Stock units for sale at big discounts!

Hey – it’s Ernie from the HFC!

I have never had the opportunity to check out a TV Logic.
A client of mine has the Sony LMD-2030W and it looks REALLY AWFUL to me.

I own the new version of the JVC DT-V24L1D – the DT-V24L3DU. The new model has a built in waveform monitor, but is otherwise the same unit. I must say it is the first LCD I’ve used that I thought looked decent.

I also like the TV Logic, but we ended up purchasing the eCinema FX24 (the higher models aren’t shipping yet so it was the best we could get for now).

For $4300, I’ve been pretty impressed with it.

I don’t like the viewing angle of the JVC monitors. Makes color grading very difficult.

I looked at a Sony Luma series a while ago and was very unimpressed by it.
