  Sony HDV/DV Deck and Final Cut Pro Studio 2

  Working with Sony HDV/DV deck. Video shot using DV mode, letterbox. Previous video captured into Final Cut is fine. Widescreen no problems. Now additional needed footage and/or redigitizing comes into Final Cut at 4:3. We need to place a “widescreen” filter on these video pieces to get them to look letterbox without distortion.

  Can’t figure out if there is a setting off either in FCPro or HDV/DV deck.

  Help!!!
