Sony HD PDW-700 and Premiere CS4 or CS5
We are doing a video of a customer in New Zealand and are interviewing different videographers. One looks very good. He uses a Sony HD PDW-700.
I have not edited with output from that camera before. Are there any issues? We currently use CS4. We are planning to upgrade to CS5, and could do so now if that makes a difference.

Neil,
there is a set of plug-ins by MainConcept – they do work smoothly for the material of the PDW-700. In Europe they charge 250 Euros, don´t know what the want in Australien Dollars.
With the plugin you have presets directly in premiere and the codecs. I couldn´t get premiere to work the footage without the plugins – if anybody knows another way, please let me know, thank you!Kind regards,
