  Sony FX9 Extension Unit Power Output to PL Lens Servo

  Hi all,

  I need to power the servo drive unit of a Fujinon Cabrio PL lens from the Hirose output of the FX9’s Extension unit. There is a 4-pin to 20-pin power cable available, but i need to know if both the zoom AND focus servos can be powered. I’ve read in a few places that only the zoom servo can be powered.

  Anyone have any experience with this kind of setup? My company replaced our Sony F5 with an FX9. Of course the F5’s PL mount powered the lens directly.
