My friend shot a sizzle reel on an EX2 or 3. Not even sure if there is a 3, but he put all the .XML files on a hard drive, but I don’t know how to get them into FCP. I have FCP 6.06 and I’m on a G5. How do I convert these files so I can edit them? I tried Log and Transfer, but that didn’t work. I tried to drag in the .TXT files and the .XML’s but,,,,nothing. Thank you in advance for your help.

I am afraid that you need to have the entire “intact” BPAV file structure that is created on the SxS cards from the camera. Otherwise you will not be able to import the clips with Log and transfer. If you have the BPAV folder just point the log and capture to that folder and don’t go any “deeper” into it. From there Log and transfer should be able to read and import the files.

    Hope this helps.
