  Sony DSR 250P recording/displaying green image

  Has anyone experienced the image not only appearing with a completely green hue on the camera LCD monitor but also when recorded to tape and played out to an external monitor? (Happened on both Auto and Manual settings, and all attempts to White Balance failed). I’ve got a feeling it’s a serious fault with the camera. Any input welcome. Thanks.
