    Hi there,

I have a load of footage from a behind the scenes shoot … unfortunately one of the cameras was one of those mini Sony bloggie cameras.

They have given me the raw footage and it appears to be in 1920×1080 mp4 h.264 interlaced.. I think it’s AVCHD.

I don’t have the original software (if there was any) which takes the raw footage and puts it into something good….I was just wandering what would be the best format to convert it into? I have mpeg streamclip and also Adobe Media Encoder.

I have tried putting it into Quicktime apple motion jpeg? but it doesnt seem to be the most amazing quality. Ppro seems to import he footage ok however it has alot of striping so I think it’s interlaced.

any help would be much appreciated 🙂

What do you need to convert it for? Editing or posting online?

Sorry I forgot to mention that

I need to convert it so I can import into premiere and edit the footage for web and DVD.

Ppro recognises but It seems to be interlaced and in some shooting format specific to the Sony bloggie camera and also it’s 30fps.
