  Sony Architect Pro 5.2 – Blu-ray Authoring problem

  Hello,

  I have been pulling my hair out in past few days trying to author a menu-based Blu-Ray disc using Sony Architect Pro 5.2. No matter what I tried, it would stuck at %1 render for a while then return with this error:

  “Warning: An error occurred while writing a file.”
  “Error 0x8004e02c (message missing)”

  If I choose to make single-movie instead of menu-based, then everything would be fine. With menu-based, If I were to change the project properties to “make DVD” instead of “make Blu-ray” then it would compile fine after going through recommpression.

  My work flow:

  Files rendered from Vegas 10D using MainConcept MPEG-2 templates:

  = Blu-ray 1920×1080-60i, 25 MBps video stream
  (29.970 fps, 1920×1080 Upper field first, YUV, 25 Mbs, Pixel aspect ratio: 1.0)

  Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro (256 Kbps, 48Khz, 24 Bit, Stereo, AC3)

  Importing into Sony Architect 5.2:

  Video: xxxx.m2v
  Audio: xxxx.ac3

  Project properties:

  Disc format: Blu-ray disc
  Target media size(GB): 25
  Video format: MPEG-2
  Bit rate (Mbps): 25.000
  Aspect ratio: 16:9
  Resolution: 1920×1080
  Frame rate: 29.970 interlaced
  Progressive: No
  Audio format: AC-3 Stereo
  Bit rate (Kbps): 448

  Before upgrading for Sony Architect Pro 5.2, I were using version 4.5 to successfully author many menu-based DVD disc.

  I have tried another computer with same result and really need your help.
