Strange. I have new MBP 17″i7 512GB SSD, 8GB ram. Sonnet Tempo Pro eSata express 34 card writes 92MB/s and reads 177MB/s. External eSata raid array is Raid 5 4TB. Same card dropped into my 17″ Core 2 duo (from 2009 OS 10.6.8) gets 150MB/s write and 192MB/s read. OS on new laptop is 10.7.3. It seems like a driver issue, anyone know of a fix?

    Thanks

No solution for you, but seems to me the first thing I’d do is contact Sonnet support about the problem.

Thanks Jerry, I’m right there with you. Sent them an email moments before I wrote this post. Thought someone might be able to give me insight here before business tomorrow morning.
