I updated my CC apps Monday (regrettably).
I noticed my Magic Bullet looks plugin said “Filter Offline” on clips I had previously had used it on. I opened up a ticket with Red Giant and they’ve been helping me to resolve the issue of missing plugins.
It wasn’t til after I started the ticket with RG that I noticed the missing plugins warning box when I open a project that uses Looks and other Red Giant plugins.
Some, but not all of them are missing, along with some of my filmimpact transitions. It’s all random.
All the plugins are still in their correct folder paths. I even uninstalled Color Suite completely using Revo Uninstaller and re-installed. Pretty much the same, except now I have Mojo, but none of the others.
As an added confusion, all the Red Giant plugins are working fine in After Effects.

I don’t think this is a Red Giant issue, but a PPro issue. I anybody else having problems with this?!

    Hi !

after a very hard day trying to fix the same Problem, i finally solved it for me.

    what i did:
tryed the shift – trick – did’nt worked.
uninstalled and installed – did’nt worked.
removed all plugins except Looks – did’nt worked.. and tried a lot other stuff.

then i copied my hole plugins Folder from my second Computer (updated there as well – and there it worked) and after that it worked on my main Computer.

i thought – there is one plugin who makes Troubles and removed/added plugins.

and after i copied an older Version from Red Gate Mojo from my Laptop to my Computer – everything worked. After that i copied back my current Version of mojo – and every file was the same then before – except now all plugins are availible !

1 note: also a few plugins from misfire and mojo/Cosmo was also hidden.

I hope that this will help anybody. so there is really something strange in the Caching mechanism of premiere – so try to move and copy some files arround and that you don’t have to waste so much time then i did.

Not with the latest update, 2014.1, but with the last one I had the exact issue. I did some fairly extensive testing and discovered 4 of the FilmImpact plugins that appeared to conflict with Red Giant’s Colorista and MB Looks. Whenever those plugins were removed, Premiere was then able to ‘see’ the Red Giant plugins. I just got an email from FilmImpact and, of course, they claim they cannot duplicate the issue, so they have deemed that it’s specific to my machine. However, they tried it with trial versions of the Red Giant plugins, which isn’t a valid test at all.

Try removing the FilmImpact plugins and see if Premiere can see the Red Giant ones.

I’ve had this same issue after the most recent Premiere upgrade. I tried uninstalling all of the Red Giant plugins, then reinstalling with the latest RG installers and same problem. Still not working.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that our Color Suite and Trapcode plugins had disappeared from Premiere’s Effects Panel. I’ve spent too much time over the past year or so troubleshooting Red Giant’s plugins – uninstalling/re-installing them, uninstalling/re-installing Premiere, reformatting and re-installing Windows 7, clearing the plugin cache, trashing preferences(which always leads to the .m2ts file being ‘unsupported’), even having Red Giant techs connect to my machine to scope out the problem – so I’ve abandoned them. Perhaps some day they’ll be usable again.

If you have FilmImpact transition plugins installed, try removing them from the plugins folder, then clear the plugin cache and see if that solves the problem. Others are finding that this is the problem.

    HI there
I have downloaded the latest PP version from Adobe Cloud and the Film Impact video transitions are gone which came with PP 2015_3 on my Mac Book Pro. How do I reinstall them? I am installing the latest PP onto my work computer which is, sadly, a PC.

    Thanks
    Rachel
