    Hello there,

I am following an online tutorial in order to make a 3D bar graph in Motion 5.

Currently, I have my background in 1 group and my 4 bars on the graph in another group. The tutorial now says OBJECT > NEW CAMERA (and subsequently switch to 3D) > CAMERA > PERSPECTIVE > ORBIT CAMERA.

With the ORBIT CAMERA button clicked (middle of three, top right of frame), the highlight does not light up, nor does the image in my window orbit – just the yellow ‘perspective’ lines.

There seems to be a problem as Motion 5 is not allowing me to select ORBIT CAMERA. When something is selected, the corresponding button lights up. Not in this case.

Any ideas? I would be very grateful.

    Stuart

You need to click on the Orbit button – and keep holding down – then drag to orbit the camera.

Holding down the mouse button activates the mode.
