    Hi

I am having a very random issue with Premier, I have a large timeline and on it there is a selection of music tracks form the same folder all mp3 and m4a which have just stopped working. They used to play fine and have used them for years with out a problem. I can see the waveforms but no sound is coming out. I have moved the original folder and files around and re-linked them and temporally they work again but the problem then comes back. It also is slowing down the software and becomes unresponsive. Any one had this before or know a fix?

    many thanks in advance.

    Mike

Were you able to find a solution? I had the same problem (two out of three MP3 files suddenly stopped producing sound even though I could still see the waveforms).

I tried moving the MP3s so that I could relink them but ended up triggering two “A disk error occurred while attempting to access the following file:” events. Now there’s no sound and no waveforms. :S

For anyone who might stumble on this post in the future, I restarted the software and everything worked fine. Haven’t had the problem again.
