    Hello to All,

i created a simple subway model , using just single plane and using extrude and bevel. BUT when i tried to apply texture to model, its not applied to all the surface , instead it choppy , some places its applied but on other its not at all.
i have tried all the methods like cubic/flat/cylinder/uvwrap….. all give same result

can some one help me , whats going wrong here ? i have attached the image , you can see in roof and walls there are patches where texture is not applied.

just now i have started cinema 3d , so some tutorial on this issue is greatly helpful

You may have overlapping polys. Are there duplicates of the mesh in your scene?

not sure overlapping polys, how to find if its overlapping ?
if these because overlapping polys then how to fix it ? or do i need to re-model the whole scene again ?

“Main” and “SideWalls” are duplicates of each other and over lapping, hide one of them from render and viewport.

Thank you very much for you time.
after your analysis i just checked and found that c4d slice command will create new poly but also retains from parent poly object.
i have corrected that and now everything is fine. and btw i have used a free script from cgtools called perfect split now
